These high performance valves are engineered to address demanding applications that are found where large valves handle hot steam or high/low temperatures that prevent the use of rubber lining elements.

The Crane®FKX 9000 triple offset butterfly valve adheres to the industry's most stringent standards, delivering exceptional flow control, optimized Cv and low Delta P, as well as zero-leak shut off in high-temperature applications for hydrocarbon and emergency shut down (ESD) service. The FKX 9000 products offer features and benefits that are appropriate for a wider range of applications and environments.

The design features an optimized seat angle, metal-to-metal sealing and an innovative stem seal and shaft design. When first developed, it was only available in sizes from 3" to 24". But now, the Crane®FKX 9000 is available in sizes up to 48".

Compared to ball valves, the Crane®FKX 9000 Triple Offset Valves are an affordable solution that requires less structural support to ensure bubble tight shut-off. They provide a virtual zero leak rate even in high-pressure, high-temperature applications. Due to their quarter-turn movement for opening and closing, the valves are easy to automate and can be quickly closed for specific safety applications.
